Gary T. Steele For Governor

 I am Gary T. Steele and I am an independent running for Governor of the State of New Jersey.  I was born and raised in New Jersey.  I have lived in New Jersey my entire life.  I graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.  I also graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law with a law degree and from New York University School of Law with a Master of Laws degree in Taxation.  Taxes have always been high on my list of priorities.  I have witnessed the incredible increase in Real Estate, Sales and Income Taxes in our State over the years.  There has been no one willing to fight the battle to stop the tax escalation.  This is one fight that I am willing and prepared to take on. 

Many of you were born in New Jersey and some of you may have moved here for an employment opportunity or to attend one of our prestigious schools.  Whatever the reason you are here, at one time you were content and even proud to live in New Jersey.  But then something happened.  Taxes increased, businesses left the state, unemployment rose, housing values decreased and an overall feeling of helplessness engulfed us.  I want you to feel good about New Jersey again.

I want you to live in a state where taxes are low, businesses want to locate here, employment opportunities abound, housing values increase and a feeling of pride once again exists.  This is the New Jersey where you deserve to live, work and raise a family.  I want to be your Governor and bring you there.
